Area Service Committee (ASC)
The Area Service Committee (ASC) includes Group Service Representatives (GSR), elected Officers, and Subcommittee Chairpersons who meet monthly. The ASC does most of the work in NA so that the NA groups can focus on their primary purpose, delivering the message to the still suffering addict.
The Area Service Committee (ASC) meets on the 1st Sunday of each month. New GSR orientation starts at 12:30 PM, followed by the ASC meeting at 1:00 PM. The meeting is held at the Central Lutheran Church, 409 N Tacoma Ave, Tacoma, WA 98403.
Activities
The Activities Subcommittee organizes dances, picnics, and speaker meetings. Activities like these help to provide a greater sense of unity for the Pierce County Area NA Fellowship.
The Activities Subcommittee meets on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month, at 11:00 AM. The meeting is held at the Rialto Apartments, 311 S 9th St #100, Tacoma, WA 98402.
Public Relations (PR)
The purpose of the Public Relations (PR) Subcommittee is to serve NA groups and the community at large in the Pierce County area to ensure that the message of recovery reaches all those who might benefit. The PR Subcommittee accomplishes this by coordinating Helpline, Hospitals & Institutions, and Public Information services in the spirit of unity to maximize our ability to fulfill our primary purpose.
The Public Relations (PR) Subcommittee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at 7:00 PM. The meeting is held at the First United Methodist Church, 621 Tacoma Ave S, Tacoma, WA 98402.
Lakefest
Lakefest is an NA family retreat, in a camping environment, held during the Summer of each year. Lakefest helps further our primary purpose by building unity within the Pierce County Area NA Fellowship.
The Lakefest Subcommittee meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month, at 6:00 PM. The meeting is held at the South Hill Denny's, 626 S Hill Park Dr, Puyallup, WA 98376.
Pierce County Men's Retreat
The Pierce County Men's Retreat was formed in 2007 in response to the limited availability at a neighboring Area's Men's Retreat. The Pierce County Men's Retreat helps further our primary purpose by building unity among the men within the Pierce County Area NA Fellowship.
The Pierce County Men's Retreat Subcommittee meets on the 1st Sunday of each month, at 8:30 AM. The meeting is held at the Poodle Dog Restaurant, 1522 54th Ave E, Fife, WA 98424.
Pierce County Women's Brunch
The Pierce County Women's Brunch was formed in 2011. The Pierce County Women's Brunch helps further our primary purpose by building unity among the women within the Pierce County Area NA Fellowship.
The Pierce County Women's Brunch Subcommittee meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month, at 7:00 PM. The meeting is held at the IHOP, 7445 S Hosmer St, Tacoma, WA 98408.
Sisters in Spirit
Sisters in Spirit is the oldest, continuous NA women's retreat in the Washington Northern Idaho Region. Every year, nearly a hundred recovering women gather to share their experience, strength, and hope with each other. Sisters in Spirit helps further our primary purpose by building unity among the women within the Pierce County Area NA Fellowship.
The Sisters in Spirit Subcommittee meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 PM. The meeting is held at the Poodle Dog Restaraunt, 1522 54th Ave E, Fife, WA 98424.
Winter Winners
Winter Winners was formed in 1983 by the South King and Pierce County Areas of Narcotics Anonymous. It is a celebration of staying clean through the holiday season, which, as many of us are aware, is often difficult for recovering addicts. Winter Winners helps further our primary purpose by building unity among the Fellowship of NA within the South King and Pierce County Areas.
